"My work responds to the lived, remembered, and imagined histories that emerge from man-made and natural architecture. Spending so much time inside my home in upstate New York these past two years, I actually found myself more aware of what's outside. In a period when time is distorted and disorienting, I’ve been tracking the changes of days and seasons through direct plein-air paintings. I continue to learn more about the nature around me as the leaves change colors, fall, and create new landscapes." LN
